the tanks over whilst a grave source of danger might arise in such a place as Hong Kong by a typhoon
blowing the roof bodily off. Of course the Government
regulations in Hong Kong have already provided for
the erection of an embankment around the tanks, of
such an area, and of such height as would contain the
entire contents of the tanks, in the improbable event
of any accident happening to them.
We shall feel exceedingly obliged if the
promptest action possible can be taken in the matter, and Colonel Majendie's recommendation be telegraphed
to the Local Government of Hong Kong.
